The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark consistently receives positive feedback for its family-friendly atmosphere, excellent customer service, and well-maintained waterpark. However, some guests have expressed concerns about food quality and pricing, as well as occasional operational issues like pool closures and arcade malfunctions. The resort generally offers a memorable getaway for families.
????? I had a wonderful experience at The Kartrite Resort. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making our stay truly enjoyable. I would especially like to recognize Demetria for her outstanding customer service. She was friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive from the moment we arrived. Her positive attitude, willingness to help, and dedication to ensuring guests have a great experience made a lasting impression on us. Demetria went above and beyond to make our stay special, and her exceptional service is a true asset to the hotel. We will definitely return and highly recommend The Kartrite Resort to anyone looking for a great getaway with excellent hospitality. Thank you, Demetria, for making our visit memorable!
We took our daughter and a friend here for her birthday. I want to first say I absolutely hated the fact that to reach someone at the actual hotel was terrible! When you call the number on their website you get a call center and they can only do so much. I wasn't impressed with the prices of everything. A buffet breakfast for 4 people (nothing extra special) a regular hotel breakfast that would be free at most hotels cost us $102. The Waterpark was nice and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful but ofcourse you have to walk through the arcade to leave the Waterpark so onto another money pit. To eat at the Waterpark you have to order online and online only and ofcourse I didn't get service so we struggled with that. Would have been nice if they had a kiosk or something. Movie night was in an open area so you could see guest walking in and out and could hear them talking. Many more things I could mention ?. The staff is great thats the only reason for the 3 stars. We will never go back again but glad our daughter had a great weekend. (So much more we could have done for a 2 grand weekend)
I had high hopes for this place being that they advertise as the biggest indoor Waterpark in ny. Unfortunately, I've had better experiences in NJ indoor waterparks. We went on a Saturday and although it wasnt crowed, there werent that many rides, surprisingly, and there wasnt much to do for a full day. Staff was friendly. Keep in mind you apparently have to keep record of your towel card numbers so I just took a Pic and gave the card over to get my beach towels so we can exchange after when we leave. Restaurant within the establishment called Bixby on the other hand is a joke. Service was terrible... we were seated and waited 10 min for our menus which is ok. We placed an order for a burger and a steak and we also asked to place a to go order for the same. What boggled my mind was that the waitress Linda recommended we place the to go order at the same time as our dine in order only for us to receive the to go order bag 20 min after placing the order and then waiting an addition 45 minutes for our dine in order which in total took over an hour for our food. Please help me understand how and why???? We then had to wait for our waitress Linda who was nowhere to be found where we had to walk around the restaurant to ask for the check only for her to be hanging out in the front. I would not recommend this place to anyone as there are way better options based on the price point per night.
My stay at The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark was outstanding. The resort is clean, modern, and full of great amenities, but what truly made my experience exceptional was the customer service. I want to give special recognition to Gloria, who assisted me during my visit. Her service was excellent—friendly, patient, and genuinely committed to helping guests feel welcomed and taken care of. She went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly, and her professionalism made a real difference in my stay. The waterpark is well-maintained, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is perfect for families or anyone looking to relax and have fun. But the highlight of my visit was definitely the warm and attentive service from Gloria.
Our Girl Scout troop recently stayed at The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark, and it was truly an incredible experience from start to finish. A huge thank you to Jennifer Haberle and Danielle Schwartz for making our trip so special. Jennifer in particular went above and beyond to help our troop throughout our stay. She was there to greet us within minutes of our arrival and had everything set up so we were ready to go immediately, which made coordinating a big group of excited Girl Scouts so easy. She has the sweetest personality and was always a smiling face whenever we saw her around the resort. It meant so much to the girls (and the parents!) to feel so welcomed and supported. The kids had the absolute best time. The accommodations were comfortable and spacious, the waterpark felt very safe and clean, and every staff member we encountered was kind, helpful, and a pleasure to interact with. Attending a trip for a large group like a Girl Scout troop can sometimes be challenging, but the team at The Kartrite made it seamless and fun. We are so grateful for the wonderful memories our girls made there and cannot wait to come back! Highly recommend for families, groups, and anyone looking for a fun and well-run getaway.
I was pretty impressed with the water park. We didn't stay onsite so I can't speak to the quality of the rooms. The staff was friendly and attentive. The lifeguards were focused and diligent in scanning the pools. Managers/supervisors were present and visible. There was plenty of seating and the air was comfortable, not too stuffy but not too cold. They had cabanas you could rent if you needed more privacy or a sensory break. It's loud due to all the slides and fountains and music on top of that. They had activities for all ages. A very fun day with the family. Another thing, we had to reschedule our day passes due to snow and ice. They were more than accommodating when this happened.
We had a very fun weekend staying at the Kartrite Resort. The water park is very fun for all ages. The lifeguards were always friendly and available. Special shoutout to lifeguard Nicolas who was always smiling, kind, and incredibly pleasant to be around! The only two fair warnings I would give is that the food is pretty much what you usually find in amusement parks… not the best. And there aren’t many options in or out the hotel. The overall experience is a little underwhelming for the pretty high price in my opinion, still, not a bad one. Finally, the escape room is probably not worth your time and money… hahahaha
The service when we checked in was great! They had text communication for months before I came answering any questions. I added upgrades to my room, the cookies and cupcakes were amazing. The check in was easy and they were really helpful. If you go during the week there aren't as many lines for the water rides and wait for other things. Few restaurants aren't open during the week so that was frustrating for Thursday Friday but the casino next door has tons of awesome food and it's a 5 minute drive. The water slides were so fun!! The lazy river was probably the best I've ever been on. The room service was great anything I needed they provided. We asked for extra towels, k cups, cups, trash bags and they were quick to provide. There's tons of activities for kids and families every day. Huge screen with movies in the lobby. Our suite had a balcony so the fresh air access was nice. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Bought sweatpants and before the night was done the seam ripped in the crotch so that was disappointing. The breakfast and coffee were decent. TVs in the bedroom are big. Beds were comfy. Service was decent wherever I went. We enjoyed our stay and I would suggest it to anyone especially families. We have gone to Great Wolf before and I honestly enjoyed this more.
Spent two nights at Kartrite for my daughter’s birthday. The place is nice for a day or one night. Check in is at 4 but even if u request early check in (extra rate) my room was ready pass 4 pm. Do not get the birthday package. It’s not worth it. I was very disappointed I pay a total of $139 with taxes for the birthday package and literary I can do better buying stuff myself. See picture below. The bar at the lower level always close. POP opens too late and we can’t even bring a cake inside the waterpark. Front desk service was good will go back but only for a day for the kids.
Waterpark is fantastic. Lots to do for all ages. Safety is clearly a top priority. We had a really fun time in the activity room with Tracy! She had so much to do for all the kids and wore the biggest smile the whole time. Plus the artwork in the space is gorgeous. Rooms were neat and well designed for families.
