The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark consistently receives positive reviews, particularly for its family-friendly atmosphere and excellent waterpark facilities. Guests praise the helpful and welcoming staff, spacious rooms, and engaging activities. However, some reviews highlight occasional issues with food quality, arcade equipment, and cleanliness in certain areas.
Our Girl Scout troop recently stayed at The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark, and it was truly an incredible experience from start to finish. A huge thank you to Jennifer Haberle and Danielle Schwartz for making our trip so special. Jennifer in particular went above and beyond to help our troop throughout our stay. She was there to greet us within minutes of our arrival and had everything set up so we were ready to go immediately, which made coordinating a big group of excited Girl Scouts so easy. She has the sweetest personality and was always a smiling face whenever we saw her around the resort. It meant so much to the girls (and the parents!) to feel so welcomed and supported. The kids had the absolute best time. The accommodations were comfortable and spacious, the waterpark felt very safe and clean, and every staff member we encountered was kind, helpful, and a pleasure to interact with. Attending a trip for a large group like a Girl Scout troop can sometimes be challenging, but the team at The Kartrite made it seamless and fun. We are so grateful for the wonderful memories our girls made there and cannot wait to come back! Highly recommend for families, groups, and anyone looking for a fun and well-run getaway.
I was pretty impressed with the water park. We didn't stay onsite so I can't speak to the quality of the rooms. The staff was friendly and attentive. The lifeguards were focused and diligent in scanning the pools. Managers/supervisors were present and visible. There was plenty of seating and the air was comfortable, not too stuffy but not too cold. They had cabanas you could rent if you needed more privacy or a sensory break. It's loud due to all the slides and fountains and music on top of that. They had activities for all ages. A very fun day with the family. Another thing, we had to reschedule our day passes due to snow and ice. They were more than accommodating when this happened.
We had a very fun weekend staying at the Kartrite Resort. The water park is very fun for all ages. The lifeguards were always friendly and available. Special shoutout to lifeguard Nicolas who was always smiling, kind, and incredibly pleasant to be around! The only two fair warnings I would give is that the food is pretty much what you usually find in amusement parks… not the best. And there aren’t many options in or out the hotel. The overall experience is a little underwhelming for the pretty high price in my opinion, still, not a bad one. Finally, the escape room is probably not worth your time and money… hahahaha
The service when we checked in was great! They had text communication for months before I came answering any questions. I added upgrades to my room, the cookies and cupcakes were amazing. The check in was easy and they were really helpful. If you go during the week there aren't as many lines for the water rides and wait for other things. Few restaurants aren't open during the week so that was frustrating for Thursday Friday but the casino next door has tons of awesome food and it's a 5 minute drive. The water slides were so fun!! The lazy river was probably the best I've ever been on. The room service was great anything I needed they provided. We asked for extra towels, k cups, cups, trash bags and they were quick to provide. There's tons of activities for kids and families every day. Huge screen with movies in the lobby. Our suite had a balcony so the fresh air access was nice. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Bought sweatpants and before the night was done the seam ripped in the crotch so that was disappointing. The breakfast and coffee were decent. TVs in the bedroom are big. Beds were comfy. Service was decent wherever I went. We enjoyed our stay and I would suggest it to anyone especially families. We have gone to Great Wolf before and I honestly enjoyed this more.
Spent two nights at Kartrite for my daughter’s birthday. The place is nice for a day or one night. Check in is at 4 but even if u request early check in (extra rate) my room was ready pass 4 pm. Do not get the birthday package. It’s not worth it. I was very disappointed I pay a total of $139 with taxes for the birthday package and literary I can do better buying stuff myself. See picture below. The bar at the lower level always close. POP opens too late and we can’t even bring a cake inside the waterpark. Front desk service was good will go back but only for a day for the kids.
Waterpark is fantastic. Lots to do for all ages. Safety is clearly a top priority. We had a really fun time in the activity room with Tracy! She had so much to do for all the kids and wore the biggest smile the whole time. Plus the artwork in the space is gorgeous. Rooms were neat and well designed for families.
5 stars for the activity room staff!!! Tracy and Shanai were absolutely amazing- so friendly and warm. You can tell they enjoy working with children and know how to keep them engaged and calm. Will definitely come back thanks to them. Also, shout out to Christian and Karem holding down the fort at Surfside Grille. They were so calm and pleasant despite all the cranky people. They got food orders out as quickly as they were prepared. Definitely a few concerns in other areas of the hotel- no water pressure, room and bathroom weren't clean (popcorn under the couch, we never had popcorn), strands of hair everywhere, not clean behind bathroom door- similarly at the water park, in the pink tube waterside, green algae? mold? grime made it so concerning that my kids went on the slide in there. Staff cooking at surfside grille had very long hair and no hair covering or net. Public restrooms were filthy, men's room had urine all over the floors. Also, only 2 order terminals worked to get food but the receipt tape was empty so it was hard for those who didnt check their order number at the end of their transaction. Otherwise, towel staff were all super friendly and helpful- thank you Ashley for helpingfind the correct size life vest for my little one! Would consider coming back but definitely not for a holiday weekend, they were very unprepared for the prices charged.
The kartrite was a nice experience staying there as we were there once for the day. The rooms are nice, but the pillows are kinda small on the bed, but we slept well enough. The tempature in the room was a little tough to control at first, but we evened it out. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. We thought it was on our floor on 7, but it was all of them. The park is really nice, but smaller than most indoor parks. One big slide was out and one tube ride was out of service. From 2-3pm two of the pools closed for safety. We had a cabana the 2nd day there and it was nice and the service provided was great. The restaurants were weird though. The buffet part is only breakfast and dinner, one bar-like place was closed for renovations and the other restaurant we were told that if we had 8, they didnt take reservations and we should be good as long as we got there before 7. Got there and it was a 70 min wait. Thankfully we were on Valentine's weekend and the buffet had a special dinner where it was a little cheaper, but a lot of food. It wasn't bad and while the service was light, the staff manning it did well. Overall, we enjoyed our time and liked what we did on our stay.
Our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah at The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived to the final goodbyes, every detail was handled with care, professionalism, and genuine warmth. It was truly a weekend our family and every guest will remember forever. A huge thank-you to Danielle Schwartz, whose event-planning expertise turned our vision into something even better than we imagined. Their creativity, organization, and constant communication made the entire process seamless. They anticipated every need, solved every challenge before we even knew it existed, and brought an energy that made the celebration feel truly special. At the front desk were absolute stars. They greeted our family and guests with kindness, efficiency, patience, and smiles (even when we made them crazy with changing our rooms around) - that set the tone for the entire stay. Whether it was helping with check-ins, answering questions, or going the extra mile to ensure everyone felt welcome, they made a huge difference in our experience. Between the beautiful event spaces, the excitement of the waterpark, and the incredible staff, The Kartrite made this milestone celebration unforgettable. We could not be happier with how everything turned out. Five stars all around — highly recommended for any special occasion! ?????
We had such a great group experience at the Kartrite this past weekend! Danielle Schwartz was essential in helping me plan a group trip for our youth sports team. We had 20 families attend! She answered all of my questions quickly and set us up to have a great time. I would highly recommend reaching out to Danielle if you are planning a group trip. Families loved the size and cleanliness of the water park and rooms as well as all of the fun arcade games and activities to keep the kids busy!
