Held our corporate retreat for 10 at the Debruce first week of March! Easy drive from NYC. We loved watching the big snowflakes fall in the gorgeous dining room with the fire burning. The staff was open and accommodating to all our requests.
Our stay at The DeBruce was wonderful. The hotel is charming, thoughtfully designed, and feels relaxed without trying too hard. It’s the kind of place that makes it easy to settle in and unwind. The restaurant was phenomenal! Every course was well executed and memorable. A special thank you to our waiter, Giovanni, who was hospitable, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. His menu and wine recommendations were excellent and really enhanced the experience. Jess downstairs on Saturday was also fantastic and made the evening feel especially welcoming. Truly, everyone we interacted with was warm, attentive, and professional, which made the weekend all the more enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
My husband and I enjoyed a weekend at The DeBruce - a warm welcome upon arrival from Phil (you were fantastic at each interaction throughout the weekend). We ate dinner Friday night at another Foster Supply Hospitality property (shout out to Kenoza Hall) and enjoyed chatting with the bartender, Giovanni, back at the DeBruce bar after dinner. Saturday night's tasting menu was excellent - each course was delicious and interesting. Hats off to the chef and the entire kitchen and service crew for a wonderful dining experience.
I had the opportunity to partake in the "Mountain" tasting menu, and it was the most pleasant experince of my life. The only thing more beautiful than the ambiance in the dining room was the food itself, each course was masterfully crafted and portioned perfectly. I would strongly recommend giving The DeBruce a visit and giving yourself a culinary treat.
We stayed at DeBruce for a weekend of hiking and exploring. Jess was 10/10 with the recommendations and looking after us. Dinner was delicious, very fresh products. Breakfast by Chef Alex was phenomenal too (the hash browns are a must!), one of the freshest, tastiest meals of the year! We felt like home playing board games next to the fire place while having a drink and eating home made cookies (thank you again Chef Alex!) We will definitely come back!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and dining at its restaurant, and it was truly an outstanding experience from start to finish. The service was exceptional—staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and taken care of. Jules, Gio, Phil & Jessica were fantastic. The ambiance throughout the hotel and restaurant was warm and inviting. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish prepared to perfection and presented beautifully. The setting itself is breathtaking, with beautiful scenery that creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Overall the debruce delivers on every level.
We spent one perfect fall night at The DeBruce, and it was everything. The tasting menu was incredible—thoughtful, seasonal, and just the right pace. Rachel made the whole experience even better with her warm, welcoming energy and amazing bartending skills. Her cocktails were spot-on and such a highlight of the night. The room was cozy and peaceful, and waking up to that mountain air felt like a reset. Couldn’t have asked for a better little autumn getaway. Can’t wait to come back.
We had our wedding at The DeBruce and it was nothing short of extraordinary. The grounds and property are absolutely stunning—our guests were in awe of the setting from the moment they arrived. The food was truly unforgettable, easily the best we’ve ever had at a wedding, and the staff made everything feel seamless, warm, and personal. Beyond being the perfect wedding venue, The DeBruce is also incredible for just a meal or a stay. The property, hospitality, and culinary experience are unmatched. We are endlessly grateful to The DeBruce for giving us the most beautiful, unforgettable celebration.
Spectacular from start to finish. We came for dinner at 7 PM on a Friday in August and had an exceptional experience. The staff was incredibly attentive, the food was outstanding, and the views of the valley are simply unmatched. Watching the sunset unfold over the evening—from daylight to dusk—made the experience truly special. The dining room, with its rich brown wood and open kitchen, added a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every detail was memorable. 10/10 – An unforgettable evening.
An absolutely phenomenal hotel and inn. The service was amazing! Small, quiet, but with stunning grounds and a beautiful (if small) pool. Giovanni is a particular standout - he is knowledgeable about the area, about wine, about food, about the hotel… he is an absolute pleasure! We ate at the restaurant too, and Jess was our waitress. She was also wonderful. Knowledgeable, sweet, and attentive. The food was beautiful, and the dining room, though small, was thoughtfully laid out. The view into the kitchen was a particular standout. We can’t wait to go back!
