I love the blue fox It’s open everyday, The food is great and the drinks too, The staff is great, the owners too, and there is a sense of welcoming and community. Monday nights for me lately has been coming here to eat homemade Hungarian food, winter weather is perfect for chicken paprikash or beef goulash. The fire place is awesome too Really enjoyed it Thank you to the staff and owners!!

Our review is for the resturant. We have a cabin near by and have been coming to eat at their resturant for about 3 years. We come by about 3-4 times a year. Good resturants in the area are very very limited and this was one on our list. Service is always slow as there aren't enough waiters and cooks but today was by far the worst ever. Place was packed and we immediately ordered our food when we set. After only getting one drink and no bread.. We then asked for bread from the 3 waiters again and again over 30min. After 50 min waiting the waiter came and asked if we got menus.. (We ordered almost 50 min ago!!). Immediately after we were told that they lost our order actually. We put our order again and asked to at least get bread.. After another 20m waiting we just got up and left. We were there for over an hour and who knows when will the food would have arrived.. Really sad since there are so few places around but it was truly rediculus. Goes without saying that everyone were served poorly. One table near by the waiter said he will give everyone drinks on the house since they waited too long and a lady at another table got up to get salt and pepper by herself from the bar after asking for it multiple times for no avail. We won't be back.

The Blue Fox Motel is a gem! It is fun, relaxing, and clean. We booked almost the whole motel for a wedding weekend and it couldn’t have been better. The staff is kind and generous. I am a business owner and I would LOVE to have staff like the management and crew of The Blue Fox. Everyone went out of their way to make our weekend a success. The location is stunning, the decor is relaxing and fun, and the restaurant was great. Love the people, love the place, love the area.

We recently had a mixed experience at a charming, family-run motel. While the hospitality and food were exceptional, the accommodations left something to be desired. ?The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food on-site was absolutely delicious. These two aspects were the definite highlights of our stay and a testament to the care of the people running the establishment. ?However, the condition of the room was disappointing. There was a strong, musty smell, and it was clear that the space had not been thoroughly cleaned, with cobwebs in the corners and mold in the shower. We also found various bugs in the room. Because of these issues, this may not be a suitable choice for guests with allergies or asthma. *I'm adding an edit to my original review after reflecting on my stay. I still think this motel is in a great spot for trying out some delicious local food. However, the condition of the room itself was a major letdown. The musty smell was hard to ignore, and I noticed visible mold in the shower along with a good amount of dust and cobwebs. After getting home and becoming very congested, I now believe I had a sinus infection, and the room's poor air quality was likely a factor. Just a heads-up for others—if you have sensitivities or allergies, this might not be the place for you.

We cannot thank The Blue Fox and the entire staff enough for being the cherry on top of our wedding weekend! They hosted our rehearsal dinner, welcome party by the pool and we rented out a large majority of the hotel for the entire weekend. The views were picturesque, the rooms and houses were all unique and clean! Everyone loved the goats, pickleball court & the pool. Not to mention the FOOD at the rehearsal… unreal, and so much food, no one went home hungry, our families can’t get over how good the chicken lollipops and shrimp ceviche were! Thank you to everyone who helped pull this all off ?? we can’t recommend the blue fox enough for any and all wedding festivities ?

Beautiful location and the rooms are clean and lovely - also a few onsite cabins which are maintained while keeping the natural beauty of the surrounding area. The restaurant is fantastic- the selections are fresh and with local ingredients- Pepitas Salad, the salmon and grilled octopus just wonderful and the owner and chef have a great and interesting history together which just ups the charm of The Blue Fox. The staff is just lovely.

While dated, the rooms were clean, and prepared well with coffee maker, ice bucket, glasses and mugs. Our room's bathroom door didn't latch so we had to prop the door closed when the bathroom was in use. If we weren't a married couple I could see this being a problem.

Me, my wife and our friends had a wonderful stay and dinners at Blue Fox Motel. We stayed for 3 nights by end of April. Such a beautiful property not so far away from New York City. Rooms were spacious and clean. The food we had at the restaurant was delicious, bursting with full of Flavors. All the service team, Justin, Bella, Omar were amazing. Super professional and warm. I was blown away by kindness of the owners George, Meg and Bruno. Super warm hospitality. They made us feel like we were part of the family. Coming from thousands of mile away from Nepal it brought alot of emotions. Simple Thank you isn’t enough to express the experience and warmth we received from you. Can’t wait to go back! The Blue Fox has seriously become a must-stop every time we head up to Narrowsburg—I honestly can't remember the last trip without popping by! Whether we're just grabbing a drink or sitting down for a meal, it’s always the perfect vibe, and the quality is always top-notch. The staff here? Unmatched. Everyone is so genuinely friendly, and I’ve never had a bad experience. They go above and beyond every single time. Two moments that stand out: a few years back, when we got stuck at the restaurant during a storm, they offered us a discounted room to stay the night, and more recently, when I accidentally left my wallet behind, one of the managers actually opened up during off-hours to help me look for it. Turns out, it was safely tucked away in the safe, thanks to a thoughtful employee. The Blue Fox really strikes the perfect balance between being laid-back and approachable, but with that touch of sophistication you don’t expect in a place like this. Can’t recommend it enough!

Immaculate vibes. I’ve been to all of the local restaurants and this one is all around the best. It’s fine dining without the snoody attitude or the prices. The specials are always fantastic, please try the barramundi or the cataplana if they have it - you won’t regret it. I also like that I can just get a beer and a burger if I want, while sitting at the bar enjoying the amazing rustic atmosphere. The best part of this place however, is the staff. The bartenders and servers are all very warm and interesting people. George, the owner is always making his rounds and ensuring that everyone is having a great time. He is an incredible restaurateur. I can’t recommend this place enough. And don’t be one of those people who complains that their food isn’t at the table within 5 minutes of ordering - this isn’t that kind of place. This is narrowsburg, so relax, enjoy your drink, and be happy that a place like this exists for you to enjoy.
