The Yarra is consistently praised as a charming and welcoming Bed & Breakfast, offering a tranquil escape with beautifully designed rooms and a focus on guest comfort. Guests highlight the delicious breakfasts, attentive service from the owner, Sonya, and overall memorable experience. It's particularly popular with those seeking a relaxing getaway near both the city and outdoor activities.
Beautifully appointed rooms and cozy common area. Delicious breakfast and supper club! It’s the perfect 4 season getaway and convenient to the city
The King room at The Yarra comes with mountain views and the most comfortable bedding I’ve ever had staying at a bed & breakfast. The NYE menu and wines available were delicious. Our continental breakfast included everything we could want (egg bites, bagels, coffee, yogurt, granola, fresh blueberries etc.) and a quiet, serene start to our New Year morning.
My friend and I stayed at The Yarra for a Mom's Trip away. It was located central to both of us at a nice location. It was my first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and I have to say, I cannot wait to come back! Sonya, the owner was so lovely and inviting. Our room was perfect, stylish and cozy. Our dinner could not have been more delicious. Thank you for the best 24 hour mom's get-away!
The Yarra is a wonderful little Bed & Breakfast. This was actually my husband’s and my first experience at a B&B, and we loved it. The house is so cute and warm and inviting. The owners are personable and attentive. Our room (the “grey room”) and bathroom were comfortable and clean, with lots of little extras to make you feel at home (the cotton pads were especially appreciated as I forgot to bring any). The breakfast was ample and delicious, with homemade egg bites and muffins which the owner made herself, as well as many other quality, fresh offerings (including locally-made bagels). Although the house is old and not sound proof, all the guests were quiet and considerate (though I do recommend ear plugs for sleeping if you’re sensitive to noise, as once guests start waking and moving around the floor creaking may wake you up). Roscoe is also a charming, cozy little town with some great shops and spots, and friendly people.
I spent a night at this lovely BnB. The interiors are really nice and very tastefully thought out. Downstairs has two small dining areas and some cozy chairs relax in. My room was great, quite spacious and the decor was very stylish. The bathroom was well stocked with nice products as well. The beautiful kitchen was set up for a self-service continental breakfast which was a really nice touch, extra points for the French butter! I did not eat dinner but whatever they were making smelled incredible! I would certainly stay here again!
We had the best two night stay in the White Room with our dog! The breakfast was perfect before hiking and the tapas in the evening is not to be missed. The Yarra is well appointed, beautifully maintained, and carefully curated. Sonya is an excellent host - this is a must for NYC dwellers looking to get away.
Oh goodness—where do I begin? When we arrived we were SO excited to see our room! Photos couldn’t possibly do this place justice. We stayed in the White Room and it was serene. I loved that I had unlimited access to coffee and tea. The bagels from Grizzly Bagels were SO delish and available for us in the morning, alongside specialty baked goods made in-home! The bed was divine and all the little toiletries were available in each room if needed. What really makes this place perfect is the downstairs living area. I spent time reading, writing, playing card games and just having good convo with my partner. We can’t go without speaking about the food. We enjoyed tapas that was so elevated! I am already longing to come back for a proper ‘Supper Club’ meal.
The Yarra offers a tranquil and elegant escape. This boutique inn features cozy, color-themed rooms with private bathrooms. Guests can enjoy gourmet meals, including Australian-inspired dinners made with local ingredients. The atmosphere is relaxing, with a garden and patio for enjoying the serene setting. It's a great place for a getaway, with comfortable rooms and a focus on providing a memorable experience.
We had a wonderful weekend stay at The Yarra. It's a hidden gem! The hotel has four rooms, all well decorated and stocked. Sonia, the owner, is a delight and happens to also serve a delicious tapas menu in the evening, as well as hosting weekend supper events. It's also dog friendly, and made it easy and non-judgmental. We can't wait to come back!
I booked at the Yarra while on a solo motorcycle trip. I was planning on camping but a tropical storm had rolled through. The Yarra was perfect, warm showers, extremely comfortable bed and the steak that I had for dinner was a 10/10. I’ve already planned a trip back here with my wife so she can see how great it is.
